Had a successful day / Sat May 28th, at the Colls May Fair, played an acoustic set it was a pleasure playing for those people, thanks for taking an interest, distributed many many cds, next year the  tommie griggz band will be doing a full band  covers and originals set there...so watch for us next MayFair.

 

3 cds were released Feb 2011,this year is a busy one musically...AND IS NOW SUPPORTING RICK' D AS HIS Permanent BACK UP BAND when in the east coast area.

tommie griggz latest and new,...13 song cd release  "In This Moment" features: many of tommie's musical family ie: Jon Cephas, Vinny Gagliardi, Mike Boner Carbone, Doug Holton w/ writer creds, Willy Pearce with writer creds plus., Tom Warrington, Steve Veach,and a Cameo appearance from Mike Cornish from Australia. This cd alone  promises to be every bit of the RawK....& Roll that you have come to expect.

tommie griggz full length cd release " Live in Australia"includes never B4 heard songs written  and recorded on the last day of his 3 week 1997 tour of Australia's Coast with Bassist and amazing singer songwriter from the band No Reason and drummer Adam Stown/Fermo from The Fools...this is a long awaited release and shows the spontaneous songwriting and performance energy that can spawn from new lands and experiences...Down Under..at its finest.

the cd will also include cover songs, radio interviews ...  bonus added reprint of theTour Diary as seen in Jersey Beat Magazine that same year and month, and also rare snippets and interviews, plus interviews with the back up band and friends of the band as seen thru their eyes as a yank comes to tour their great cities.

  The Mean Eyed Willys  is an eclectic garage country collaboration inspired by SXSW & the MEAN EYED CAT Bar in Austin TX, former griggz bassist/writer and King Bria bassist, W. Pearce & Griggz have gotten together  and created a long overdue and long distance 10 song cd release "Mean Eyed" is  every bit the full throttled version of both personalities, having been concieved/written & produced thru new age technology means: Skype/emailed/texted/facebooked/phoned across thousands of internet miles.... this album came together in under 5 months, staying true to an underground vibe and flow. features: Kevin Kernan, Doug Holton, Mike Carbone W.Pearce, Glenn White. stay tuned for the next cd "HOOK"

and last but not least SON OF A GUN BAND has finished recording and mastering their 2nd cd release and are presentlyshopping the mixes to record A&R.we should be able to count on some kind of tidbits from the recordings and tour dates to follow supporting the album..with Lizz Lix on bass from THE MINKS, T.Griggz, Boner and Kelly and Andy Vaughn  how can it go wrong, so stay tuned lots to come from this sleeping giant.
